We are proud to announce that Science Park Mjärdevi’s Coderdojo Camp is one of the finalists in The IASP Inspiring Solutions Programme – a knowledge sharing initiative and a way to recognize excellence within the world of science parks and areas of innovation. The International Association of Science Parks (IASP) arranges the programme in order for science parks to get greater visibility for their bright ideas, as well as to be inspired by the ideas and solutions implemented by science park colleagues all over the world. This programme also shifts the attention to the innovative initiatives that are not always given the honor and praise it deserves. The award is given to an innovative idea, solution, or project related to improving the management, performance or efficiency of science parks or areas of innovation.

Science Park Mjärdevi’s contribution to the IASP Inspiring Solutions Programme is the Coderdojo Summercamp. This is an annual camp for children and youths aged 7 to 17 where they are given the opportunity to learn more about programming, test new technology, and meet some of the companies in the Science Park at a young age. The project leaders and the coaches are students from Linköping University which is also one of the partners in the project along with Stångåstaden and Sankt Kors.
