SICK is one of the largest manufacturers of sensors for automation and autonomous systems. At SICK Linköping we focus on the area ‘Machine Vision’ with development of software and algorithms for embedded cameras and 3D-imaging sensors. We are doing well and now we are seeking reinforcement in the areas of Deep Learning and Machine Vision algorithms.
Our algorithm team consists of both junior and senior experts with research background. We do fundamental development in close collaboration with universities and integrated implementations on our embedded systems. Keywords include image processing, machine learning, object recognition, 3D-reconstruction, robotics, structure-from-motion, stereo, time-of-flight, FPGA, GPU, SLAM, camera calibration, sensor fusion and tracking.
We are looking for candidates who, like we, are passionate about algorithms, computer vision and machine learning. We need colleagues with programming skills and with the interest to see the technology work in real life applications. We develop in C++ and our sensors run Linux. It is advantage if you have experience in professional software development or development on embedded systems.
