WHAT YOU’LL DO?

As a software developer in embedded systems, you will develop the core functionality in our Generic Vision Platform. The Vision Platform is built on our own hardware using the latest technology. We develop a proprietary application framework, executing scheduled real-time calculations on the CPU and FPGA as well as providing safety- and security-critical services on top of the operating system. We also develop a generic AUTOSAR compliant vehicle integration application that interfaces the car.

As a software developer, you will work with design, development and testing of our camera features in a team. We are very focused on safety and specification and documentation are part of everyday life. At Veoneer we use agile development and continuous integration supported by tools such as Gerrit and Jenkins.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING

To succeed in the position, you should:

  • Have an engineering degree or equivalent knowledge in relevant areas
  • Have a great interest in, and good knowledge of, programming in C
  • Have knowledge of embedded SW design
  • Be fluent in English and preferably in Swedish

We value experience with Embedded Linux, Jenkins, Python and Git.

We are looking for both experienced software developers and fresh graduates. For those who are newly graduated, good study results are meritorious.

This position requires analytical skills and a focus on quality. You also need to have a collaborative mindset.
