We are proud to announce that Science Park Mjärdevi’s Coderdojo Summercamp came 2nd in 2017’s IASP Inspiring Solutions which is a knowledge sharing initiative and a way to recognise excellence within the world of science parks and areas of innovation.
Contributions from science parks all over the world were sent in, but only 10 of them made it to the final round. The winning solutions were announced at the 34th annual International Association of Science Parks (IASP) World Conference in Istanbul at the end of last week. Representatives from Science Park Mjärdevi were there to happily claim the prize as well as paticipate in the World Conference.
“The question of how to attract talent was frequently brought up in discussions at the World Conference, and therefore it is even more exciting that Coderdojo was highlighted in an international context as it demonstrates a rather different approach”, says Anna Broeders – Community & Employer Branding Manager at Science Park Mjärdevi.
