We are looking for exceptional individuals who are technically skilled, solution-driven and passionately curious who want to work at the forefront of model-based engineering.
Using model-based engineering tools, our application engineers help our customers develop novel methods for liver diagnosis, improve the design of propulsion systems, optimize concentrated solar power systems, etc.
Function and responsibilities
You will work with different projects using Wolfram System Modeler, the Wolfram Language and other software to help our customers develop, diagnose and optimize their systems.
Your tasks will include:
- Model development using System Modeler
- Analysis and design using the Wolfram Language
- The teaching of model development
Depending on the project, you will work together with Wolfram colleagues or customers or individually.
Skills and experience
You should possess the following personal qualities:
- Agility—the ability to react quickly and adapt to changes in priorities, circumstances and direction
- Communicative—good verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably also in Swedish
- Curiosity—passionate curiosity for finding new insights, innovations and results
You should have a master of science in engineering or a similar field and have expertise in model-based design.
You should have expertise in at least one of these, or similar, industries: aerospace, agriculture, automotive, energy, pharmaceutical or process industry. Ideally, you should also have experience in at least one of the following, or similar, areas: control systems, mechatronics or thermodynamics.
Programming skills in a language such as C++, C or Python and experience in the Wolfram Language is a bonus.
It is important that you can react quickly and adapt to changes in priorities, circumstances and direction and have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
