Digital networking between humans and machines in the age of artificial intelligence. During this years Hannover Fair, the worlds largest industry fair, Sweden was the host country. Several companies from the innovations areas in Linköping and East Sweden were present at the fair to meet new customers, network and learn more about Industri 4.0.

As a total, they meet 6 500 exhibitors within research and development, industrial automation, IT, industrial supply, production technologies and services to energy and mobility technologies.

At the Hannover Messe, the startup companies participated in unique matchmaking to increase the opportunities for business with large companies through a qualified matching process. The key to success is that the startups are offered concrete meetings with large companies. The matchmaking is organized by Ignite, created in cooperation between several Incubators in Sweden and the branch organization for Swedish Incubators and Science parks.

Sweden is a partner country to the fair this year. Under the theme Sweden Co-Lab, the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, with leading large companies and start-ups, gather and meet. The focus is on innovation, sustainability, digitization and globalization to position Sweden, Swedish companies and Swedish solutions as a world leader in the smart industry.
